Goldie Kai means gold and water. “Kai” is the Hawaiian word for water, a name inspired by the ocean and the islands that have shaped so much of my life and family’s story.

Goldie Kai was born from a love of the sea—its beauty, its rhythm, and the sense of freedom and peace it holds. Life in the Hawaiian islands has left a lasting imprint on me, inspiring a brand that feels both refined and grounded in nature.

When I chose the name Goldie Kai, I was drawn to the contrast of gold and water. Gold evokes warmth, timelessness, and understated elegance. Water brings softness, movement, and a quiet sense of wonder. Together, they capture the essence of the collection.

Free diving, surfing, and shelling are some of the places I feel most inspired, and that connection to the ocean is woven into every piece. I wanted to create jewelry that feels simple yet elevated—dainty, earthy, and elegant, with a timeless quality that can be worn every day.
